During Freedom Week they introduce themselves to the students by donating literature, attending or organising events at the seminar. Many of our alumni have gone on to work for or intern with the think tanks.
In addition the think tanks provide us with substantial logistical support and help us find donors.
The most important assistance comes from the Institute of Economic Affairs and the Adam Smith Institute.
We also received substantial help from the Institute of Humane Studies when we organised the first Freedom Week - they allowed us to copy documents and the seminar formula.
The think tanks include :
- Adam Smith Institute
- Centre for Policy Studies
- Global Vision
- Globalisation Institute
- Institute for Humane Studies
- Institue of Economic Affairs
- International Policy Network
- Open Europe
- Reform
"Britain needs a new generation of leaders who understand the deep roots of freedom and the rule of law, two of Britain's greatest gifts to the world. Not only is leadership for freedom needed in Britain, but the world needs Britain's leadership.
For those who can make the trip to the US or the continent, there are opportunitites to learn from professors who appreciate freedom and to meet students who share their values. The benefits of such seminars have been enormous. It's a shame that there has been no such venue in the United Kingdom, but that is about to change. I am very enthusiastic about Freedom Week. It can change the future of Britain and of the world."
